Import browser bookmarks

Bring bookmarks from any major browser into Web Highlights by exporting them as an HTML file and uploading it under Settings → Integrations.

How it works

1. Export bookmarks as HTML — In your browser, use the bookmark manager to export bookmarks to an .html file. Step-by-step guides:
   • Chrome
   • Firefox
   • Edge
   • Safari
   • Opera
   • Brave
   • DuckDuckGo
   • Vivaldi
2. Upload in Web Highlights — Settings → Integrations → Import browser bookmarks → Upload bookmarks File, then select your .html export.
3. Import — After the file is validated, run the import to add bookmarks to your library. You can organize them with tags in Web Highlights.

Notes

• Folder structure from the browser is flattened; use tags in Web Highlights for grouping.
• Invalid or javascript: links are skipped during import.
