Export to Capacities

Web Highlights integrates with Capacities, letting you export your highlights, notes, and page metadata as weblinks in your Capacities workspace.

How It Works

  1. Add your API token — Open Settings > Integrations and click "Export to Capacities". Enter your Capacities API token (found in the Capacities app at Settings > Capacities API).
  2. Select a space — Choose the Capacities space where your weblinks and highlights will be stored.
  3. Export a page — On any highlighted page, open the three-dot menu in the sidebar and select "Export to Capacities". Your weblink is created within seconds.
  4. Open in Capacities — An "Open in Capacities" button appears so you can jump straight to the created page.

What Gets Exported

Each export creates a Capacities weblink containing:

  • All highlights from the page
  • Your notes and annotations
  • Page title, URL, and metadata
