Installation

Web Highlights is a browser extension and is available in the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, and Firefox Add-Ons.

Although Web Highlights - PDF & Web Highlighter isn't directly available in Brave, Vivaldi and Opera, you can still install it because they are Chromium-based browsers.

On Android, there is also the Web Highlights app on Google Play, a companion app to the extension — see Install the Android app.

Install on Chrome Browser

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store
2. Click "Add to Chrome"

3. Pin the extension to your browser toolbar

Install on Edge Browser

1. Visit the Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store
2. Click "Get"

3. Pin the extension to your browser toolbar

Install on Mozilla Firefox Browser

1. Visit the Firefox Add-ons
2. Click "Add to Firefox"

3. Check the checkbox "Pin the extension" to have the extension available in your browser toolbar

Install on Opera Browser

1. Open the Opera browser.
2. Go to Web Highlights in the Chrome Web Store.
3. Click "Add to Chrome"

Install on Brave Browser

1. Open the Brave browser
2. Go to Web Highlights in the Chrome Web Store.
3. Click "Add to Brave" on the top-right of the page.
4. A notification will appear detailing the data and permissions you are granting. Read it carefully and confirm. Manage your installed extensions by going to Menu > More Tools > Extensions.

Install on Vivaldi Browser

1. Open the Vivaldi browser
2. Go to Web Highlights in the Chrome Web Store.
3. Click "Add to Chrome" on the top-right of the page.
4. If the button is not visible, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Google Extensions and enable the Google Store option.

Install the Android app

1. On your Android phone, open Web Highlights on Google Play and tap Install.
2. Open the app and sign in with Google or with e-mail and password — use the same account as in the extension.
