Import Pocket annotations (.json)

If your Pocket export includes a JSON file with annotations, you can import those highlights into Web Highlights and attach them to the matching saved pages.

How it works

1. Export from Pocket — Use getpocket.com/export, download the zip, and extract it. If you added annotations in Pocket, the folder may contain a .json file with them.
2. Upload the JSON — In Web Highlights: Settings → Integrations → Pocket Annotations Import (.json) → Upload Pocket JSON File, then select that file.
3. Import — Confirm the import to merge annotations into your library.

If you only have CSV

If you did not use Pocket annotations, use Pocket Import (.csv) instead.
