Capitals of Europe
This deck has 45 European capitals, and most of the difficulty lies in the east and in the microstates. Bratislava, Ljubljana and Zagreb get swapped all the time, and so does the Baltic trio of Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. A few cards come with a twist. The Dutch government sits in The Hague although Amsterdam is the capital, Switzerland has no capital in law, and Monaco, San Marino, Luxembourg and Vatican City share their names with their capitals.

Learn the Baltic capitals from north to south (Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius), in the same order as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Do the same for the Balkans with a map open. Keep the six microstates for a separate sitting; Vaduz, Valletta and Andorra la Vella are short cards that are easy to skip.
