Take Central America as a chain from north to south, then learn the twelve South American capitals in a loop around the continent. Several capitals more or less repeat the country’s name, like Guatemala City, Panama City, Mexico City and San Salvador, so spend your time on the ones that do not, like Tegucigalpa and Paramaribo.
