How to Restore Bookmarks in Brave

This guide will show you how to import your Brave bookmarks by restoring them from a local backup file. Here is a step-by-step guide for importing bookmarks in Brave:

  1. Open Brave.
  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Go to BookmarksBookmark manager, or press Ctrl+Shift+O.
  4. In Bookmark Manager, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  5. Click Import bookmarks.
  6. Navigate to your local backup HTML file, select it, and click Open.
  7. The imported bookmarks will appear in a new "Imported" folder in your bookmark bar.
  8. Alternative method: Go to brave://settings/importData, select Bookmarks HTML File from the dropdown, and import your file.
  9. Note: Imported bookmarks will be added to your existing bookmarks, not replace them. You can organize them by moving them to different folders as needed.
